i do NOT like the idea of single gender schools because sometimes hanging out with one gender can drive someone crazy. also because some girls are mean while going to a school with girls and boys can improve other social skills -Michaela
I think that single gender schools are better than multiply gender schools s there will be no competion between both genders, also if one gender bullies another it could be a provlem. Also if one gender gets in troublee then both myght get punished, so single gender schools also give better education so they are better also if one gender is a slow learnar but the other one is a fast learner than the fast learners will be held back becuase of the slow learners, also if one gender disturbes the other than the other will be affected
Though you make a great point Sohan, life isn't always about competition. Not everyone thinks they are/have the better gender. I like how you added bullies into the situation but bullying isn't directed towards just one gender.
I think single gender schools are very unnecessary because when you go to New York City there is a lot of diversity. The real world isn't girls vs. boys. We should except that life is diverse and by separating girls and boys we are making it awkward to talk to each other. People should learn how to be social with EVERYONE not just there own gender. ~Natalie Bacon
I think single gender education should not happen because people should be able to learn how to converse with people of the opposite gender and develop social skills. This is important because it can help you make more friends and you will be more familiar with the opposite gender. Without mixed gender schools there would be no competition between the two genders and people may not have as much motivation to work hard. Therefor it can help you with grades and your social skills.

I think that there should be single gender schools. There is single gender sports so why not schools. I also think that they act and think diffrent. It will be better for boy and girls.

For example, I am a girl, and if i went to an all girls school, i would not know what the other gender is like to be around.
